Actually, we made some recent modifications to the intake where the first ones that went out did not have. Basically, we had to remove the left side "flap" as it could not be bent sharp enough.

Now, it's a 10 minute install for sure. Hey, it's also available in Henry Ford Black.

I'd love to get one of these. Is there anything about the installation that would make putting the original parts back for service visits difficult or leave it obvious that the intake had been modified?

It is about 10 minutes to install and about 10 minutes to go back to complete stock - very easy it is just remove a part and put one its it place...uses all the same holes etc.

As for the SSK - BEN - PLEASE MAKE ME ONE!!!!!!!! I've bugged ben about this before and I really want one...The stock throw is short - but not short enough - I want to be able to shift with a roll of the wrist - and not have to move my arm.

Also Ben - any timeframe on the flywheel? clutch? pulley?

the only thing i can think of that would indicate that you've even touched the airbox is the clamp for the intake hose.

after doing a few yesterday, i think the longest part of the install is getting the tools out of the toolbox!

Thanks! I placed an order for one on your web site this morning - can't wait to try it.

I read the PDF installation instruction on the Rogue site. It included "Given the time to adapt, your vehicle will be adjusting to the increased volume of air coming into the system and provide even more gains." What is going on during this adjustment period? Is the ECU changing its maps somehow? How long does it take to fully adjust?

Keith whenever you add an intake specially for rice burners(hondas,Nissans etc) it is recommended that you take the NEGATIVE post of the battery for approx 5 minutes, this in turns shuts down the ECU and when you go turn vehicle you put post on and crank the vehicle and it reconfigure the MAp readings to adjust to nerw air flow. I plan to use the same method with the "S" when I get my intake from www.mini-madness.com. I'll keep you guys posted.

Fuel maps are generally only used at WOT. At any other throttle position, the fuel delivery is related to alot of things (too many to list this early in the morning) in order to maintain driveability and meet emmissions.
If there is more air in the combustion chamber than expected, you have a lean condition which the oxygen sensors will attempt to correct for. Sooner or later, the computer will be able to predict this extra air from the intake and less corrections will be needed by the 02 sensor. Im pretty sure this is what Ben is talking about.

From the stock tubing running from underneath the cai to the front of the car above the raditor on the right side(if looking at the hood/drivers side).

We have a customer in FL, who has a MCS but also has a really suped up Viper (modified to a paltry 650hp)

I recall he saying that the MCS is *almost* as fun as the Viper.

I did say *almost*.

I just bought the Magnecor Plug Wires and would really know that although some said they very easy to install:

1. Do you just pull the existing ones out from the engine without twisting or anything?
2. Would there be any electrical shock risk in the installation?
3. Will that disturb the elctrical system and trigger off any warning lights on the dash (my airbag light lits when I disconnect one wire in the past).

Would anyone please let me know, thanks.
