Offline | MCS Sidewalk now with GTT220 Thought I should move this update over to here ![]() Went down to GTT on Thursday with my mate, both in MCS Soft-tops, left one car there overnight so Roland could get straight on it Friday morning... Talk about a sleepless night! We pick up my mates car at around 12pm friday and leave mine there. My god its fast! We spank it off to the tank museum to waste the next 4 hours while mine is done. Well what can I say, we get back at 4pm cos I couldnt wait any longer, fortunately Roland had finished, within in 15 mins we where off, like little rockets! I have to say the 220 package is well worth the money, absolutely brill! Mind you I didnt realise how quick these things are until we got back to our own patch and the roads we really know well, its only then you can appreciate the performance increase... Great Job Roland! |

Offline | This is what I had done: GTT220+ ecu remap + optimised bypass valve + high temp iridium sparkplugs + GTT supercharger pulley + shorter 'stickier' drive belt + GTT twin bearing idler pulley. + GTT 'cold ram' induction system £995+vat FITTED Except the ECU remap, because its not required and so got the job a bit cheaper... |

Offline | So what effect does the 220 have on insurance - I want to get it done this summer - just getting there for a day is a problem. Can you give me some more info. on how it changed the performance in your opinion, 0-60, traction etc. Can't wait |

| dyno-mite, might not.... | made my insurance cheaper with 170 bhp was with AA, THEN went to A.flux with mods and it was cheaper with 220? i would get a quote b4 work is done though, as insurance is a minefield no dyno or stop watch but much better [more available pull] than a 05 works s for less than a 1/4 of the price, so what else do you need to know ![]() ![]() carefree |
