Offline | G'day Mates, My '03 MCS is currently in the shop getting some work done (new brakes+rotors, fixing the AC, etc) and I thought I might as well do some upgrades. So I was thinkin about getting the Detroit Tuned Bypass Valve + a bigger throttle body put on there. However, others have said the TB would be a waste. I'm hoping to pick up one of Randy's inhouse exhausts when ever he gets finished with it. I'm also going to be getting colder plugs, kingsbore wires, and screamin demon coil pack. Anything else worth adding that won't cost me an arm+leg (and something I might be able to convince my parents to pitch in on)? Info on my car: 2003 EB/B MCS, 15% S/c pulley, ALTA CAI, Madness Rear sway bar, powerslot rotors, EBC greenstuff pads. Thanks in advance. Cheers! |

Offline | If I was in your situation, i'd probably get a lightened crank pulley, maybe +1% in size too. Or if you want a really cheap handling mod, get yourself an OMP lower strut brace. That's what i'd do, i'm sure other more experienced tuners will have some better suggestions. I think what you have been told is right though, the TB doesn't become a restriction on an MCS until you have made a lot of other mods. Good luck with it anyway. |
