Found these forums very helpful past few years so I'm hoping you'll be able to help me with this one....

The bearing in my MCS supercharger went the other day, so i fitted another one, but this time with a 15% pulley. I've changed the plugs to NGK iridium and i've already got an Alta intake kit installed. However, the car is idling around 1000-1500 which isnt feeling right. Is there anything else I need doing to it or is it just a case of getting the car re-tuned?

Help would be appreciated!

MY MINI idles at 900 rpm WITH a tune. It sounds as if yours is running high. I would check to make sure everything is connected right. Over the SC there is a little black plastic sensor (throttle response). You could have a leak there causing the high RPM....

Thanks, I'll check it out. Is the sensor connected to anything else or is it just housed on the supercharger?

It sits above the SC and has two plastic lines connected to it. I had a buddy that broke one on a pulley install and we rigged a fix but it was running a little high in the RPM. Do you get any faults with this?

Checked all the lines and took the intercooler off too to double check everything. Couldnt find anything obviously wrong with it so put it back together and its working perfectly now! - must say, love it with the new pulley on & everything working fine!
