87 Octane

I lent my car to a friend and they put in 87 octane (10 gallons). That mixed with 6 gallons of 93 octane. So it's like my car has 89 octane in it. Should I just drive it or should I take it to a shop to be drained?

drive it until its gone... you can always add some octane booster to it as well.

the tank wasnt bone dry when they borrowed it so the higher octane fuel will help

as you add more fuel it will raise the octane rating

engine may run a little rough until you are on a higher octane but an octane booster may help as well

More Air + More Fuel = More Power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
