| MINI2 Newbie | Panel Filter problems Hi, I have just fitted a new K&N panel filter over the weekend, and I found that the air filter box had 2 clips broke. It is held in place with just the 2 screws. Is this safe to drive like this, any suggestions to how to mend it. Any help would be apreciated Many thanks, |

| Lovin' every MINI of it! | If these are the clips that hold the two halves together then no, it is not safe to leave open as something could get sucked it. You could do as above and tape it until you can buy a new box but make sure it is sealed tight. Global Moderator ![]() |
