15% pully

hi all, i'm pretty sure this has been asked before but the only threads i found went into a bit too much detail and confused me to be honest
basicly i have a standard mini cooper s and ive read that getting a 15% smaller pully makes a bit of diffence...
can i just stick a 15% pully and belt on and drive off or will anything else need to be done?
thanx adam

Yes you can just get a Pulley fitted an drive away, no need to remap the car, but i would get the car rolling roaded with the timing an fueling being checked to make sure everything is running fine. I would highly recomend the guys at 1320 autos :-
