Have just been reading my old posts regarding the Dec 2006 track day at Oulton park. Can't believe it was only £99 back then - they are £225 at the moment!!!!

Can't wait for Nov/Dec/Jan to see what benefit my recent upgrades will have on the track.

Something else to look forwards to, but so far away !!!

Last time I did Oulton (it rained) it cost around £199 for a full opne pit lane session. was a good day - Druids was very slippy but we managed to upset some 993s and the odd Elise in the wet.

How did you manage to get a session so cheap?

Know what you mean about the need for a track session - hence Donnington next month.

I do my track days in autumn/winter, and Oulton park said they will revist the £99 for a full day open lane event again. It's only the summer that is expensive.

For £235 i can half fill my tank and drive round the countryside, far better.

Yes, Oulton is a great track, i really love it - the International course that is.

it must be a national thing then. Also, the cooler weather helps performance, and it can't we any wetter than the summer months can it !!!
