The link was to a PDF for the Lord Of The Flies damper that was posted in the previous post. I wasnt so keen on the LotF mounting as I was on the TXWerks mounting.

Here is the one I am using: Texas Speedwerks MINIamper Kits

I also have full Proflex engine/gearbox mounts and bushings.

The Texas Speed Works is definitely easier to adjust.

Hey Bhozar,

What would you say is your opinion on the bushes? Do they create alot of noise? I have a full set but have decided not to install them but would be interested in your opinion. I also have the TSW dampner

Cheers,

Henry

I did a review of the bushings and mounts here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/engine-dr...hlight=proflex

It did introduce some NVH, but nothing major. Plus the TXWerks damper then stopped a lot of the NVH on its stock settings. Only annoying thing is my dash rattles a little, but no worse than before I added the GTT upper brace.

I think the bushings and damper make a big difference to the car. It's a lot more settled.

My dash rattles disappeared once I fitted my GTT upper strutbrace although I do have the other 2 x GTT braces which may have also helped.

Interesting post on the bush upgrade........................might even consider it myself.

If you werent in Aberdeen I would let you try them out in my car. If I had thought about it I would have got the TXWerks damper first, then done the others so it would be easy to compare each of them seperately, and then together.

I think its only cos the stock mounts can't stop the flex that the extra power of the GTT kit causes..I doubt the lower powered GTT cars will get it like the 240-260 cars might. Its just one of those things that can be tweeked a bit with some effort or fixed using a engine steady etc.
