all depends on your taste... and also the rest of your cars styling.. as it may look good on the right sort of styled car..

EMPTY SPACE NEEDS FILLING....

Ha ha. LMAO! Think you hit the nail on the head there.

See the sense of excitement you would get if you found out this part gave what 1320autos said? Well that's how some people would feel about the styling of this part.

It was acceptable in the 80's

That you hadn't taken your crazy pills this morning?

Why would you want to block the flow of air into your scoop with some mesh?? It looks to me about as useful as a bag of broken ar*seholes.

This guy seems to have the right idea and I really like the idea of diverting some air from the scoop straight into the Alta CAI box

I like all of those scoops BigShow, just not the 1st one this thread was about, its like having a speed bump glued to your bonnet!

I do want to get a bonnet scoop in carbon fibre, the one a friend of mine has is said to lower the charged air by 10 degrees more than standard at 100mph.........think of that on a cold frosty winter morning, how fast will the Mini feel then!!!

Mmmmm.. cold air! Lets just hope we get a sunny, dry but cold winter this year!

I too have added a new scoop to my wish list, although the one i wanted in carbon fibre is well over 200 squid ... carbon fibre does look the nuts though on the scoop and anything that helps reduced temps has got to be good.
