Ok to sum this up, what are the risks to my engine of fitting this pulley? If there are no risks apart from loosing £50 for the cost of the item plus what ever the fitting cost is, then i will get it fitted and let everyone know how i get on with it after a week of driving or so!

Personally i would not fit this to my car from what they have told you...... They heat it up and throw a bucket of water on there then its held in place with a grub screw

If you have bought the pulley then thats not were your loosing out on its when the pulley cracks or comes away from the shaft that you have to worry about your engine.

Ok after much thinking, i have decided to not fit htis pulley but instead im going to buy the MED engineering pulley as a few people on here have it fitted to their cars and have driven for thousands of miles with no problems at all.

Thanks for that advice though guys, before i fitted something that may damage my engine!

how can you adjust the pulley if it is pushed on too far? use a puller?
Is there a warranty on the pulley ? what grade of aluminium is used ?will it work harden?have they been tested?
usually a cheap price has its reasons for being cheap ,and can end up costing more than you think,I have no knowledge of the pulley or its quality,it may be fine,it looks like MPH is the guinea pig for long term testing and ease of fitment

You're funny. Usually are the prices for pulley much much overcharged. Most of them.

Actually all that pulleys on the internet shops.

I know from the first hand so please don't sell me a fairy tale.

I can find you as good as all others pulleys for the half price. And you wouldn't believe it's works better then altas one for example.

Jonspeed is a tuning company who normally tune classic mini's, they are well known for installing Eaton45 superchargers to the A series engine with good reliable bhp.

This is a conversion I'm going to make for our classic mini cooper S
