Hi , the GTT OCC connects between the pcv valve on the O/S end of the rocker cover & the rigid grey plastic pipe that connects at the SC inlet.
The S/C rotors don't touch each other, therefore no lube required. The pinions & bearings run in 2 completly independant sealed oil baths in each S/C end casings.
Best Regards Roland GTT

PmP, the stock intercooler surface viewed under magnification shows a crystalline layer (plasma coating?) which can be scraped (or media blasted) away to reveal the metal substrate. I’ll take a guess and say the reason the stock IC doesn’t show the same oxidation as other aluminum components of the engine, even though exposed to the elements, is because of this coating.

Ok last one, what to clean my polished GRS surfaces with? Anyone any advice?

Busy looking for fitting instructions I saw on here before.

Spoke to Graham today, very helpful.

Gunk is ok for cleaning inside of GRS intercooler.

Well fitted it today, used old rubber gromits til I get new ones. Damn its an awkward job. Too it for a wee run there and its definitely more lively than before.

Found the stock snoot boots were full of oil, good design for catching oil tho.

Dropped my Torx bit into engine bay halfway through so need to go get another bit the right size to fully tighten the clamps down.

One other thing do you remove the black metal fixings that sit under the old cooler next cockpit?
