Offline | Take a good look at it again pmp.You will find that this air box is anything a stock part painted.the design incorperates the fire wall to the actual box. This opens the entire back of the cai to fresh cool air via the vent below the window. On the inside its not just a coupler from intake hose to filter,we use a ventury horn shape to speed the flow of air into the engine which in turn provide more power and controls unwanted noises at certain rpms like other designs. It also seals the charge from hot engine bay air.Thats the bueaty of this cai.it uses stock dimensions and looks to provide the best fitment and performance,no issues with strut bars, underhood seals or ill fitting bent sheet metal and when orderd in stealth black its very hard to tell the difference between stock and aftermarket for those who want to fool the dealer or the competitor. |
