Lightened crank pulley

I have plans on installing Alta's lightened crank pulley on my mini. I have looked for how to's and have come up short. I am currently hanging out in Korea and not able to take a look at my car and I want to check it all out before I put a pulley on order so its there when I get home. Does anyone know if there is a how to out there or have any of you changed you own pulley and taken some good pictures of the process. I installed my own supercharger pulley and several other on some friends' cars so I am not worried about doing it. I read several times that it is much easier because of the ease of access. If anyone can help me out please post it here.

This should sort you out. I will be fitting a GTT 3% crank pulley towards the end of the month, removal of stock pulley same for Alta and GTT, GTT install different because of the inner steel bush that must be heated up (interference fit on crank nose).

I have seen one of these move on the crankshaft after a few hundred miles

It made a mess of the crankshaft and pully, not sure how it was fitted though, I did not think the alloy to steel shaft interferance fit was good practice.

That is the nice thing about the GTT pulley, it uses a stainless steel bush/collar for an interference fit on the crankshaft. The aluminium pulley is then bolted to the collar (photos on the GTT website). The Alta pulley is all aluminium, not good practice fitting it directly onto steel!
