Bluefin help

Hi guys, I have been offered a second hand bluefin unit with the 33bhp mini one remap on it and I was thinking of getting it as it will still at 10bhp or so to my cooper. The guy has returned his one back to standard, will the bluefin be tied to the ECU it was originally mapped to or will I be able to use it without any hastle?

Hi

The bluefin will have to be sent back to bluefin themselves to have it reset so it can be used on another car but I think you will need the original bill of sale. I am not 100% on the cost but I think it is around £150

Hope this helps

Regards

James

To be honest the bluefin maps we've seen on our dyno make the same as a cooper so you would be wasting your money.

Slicks 11.77@115.92mph Street tyres 12.162 @ 119.02
It's not how much you spend but how well you spend it

If i remember correctly, the extra 10 bhp quoted for the cooper, is got mostly by using 100 RON fuel, as this is what bluefin reccomend. Having used 100 RON fuel for 8 months now, it will not be cheap
