Offline | Saturday Night Special Oct 13th 2007 So whose up for it, it does usually get packed but if you get there early you can get quite a few runs in, and there's nothing like racing at night. Also as you can see from the pics from the link below there's some nice photo opputunity if the weather is right. Is it worth booking a club space for all us Mini drag racers?? | Tunnel Runner | I'll be there Sunday for sure. The car's been on a diet, the back seats are gone, the engines signing to the tune of an unexpected 220bhp and like the car I'm going on a diet aswell as going to the gym everyday this week to help it run that bit quicker down the strip ![]() Fingers crossed for good weather... Can't wait! |

Offline | Santa Pod RWYB News 09/10/2007 Saturday Night Special - 13th October Summer is over and the days are getting shorter which provides the opportunity for night racing. Saturday Night Special on 13th October will see the Santa Pod Raceway track open from 9am - 9pm. All types of vehicles are invited to make the most of 12 hours of RWYB time. There will also be the Fireforce Jet Car, full catering and bar facilities, evening entertainment including free Pole Dance Shows and DJ plus camping for those wishing to stay over for the Sunday's RWYB. Phone 01234 782828 if you would like to book a club stand. Gates will open at 8am. Sign on fees are unlimited and as follows: 9am to 9pm £30, 9am – 4pm £20 and 4pm to 9pm £10. Just don’t forget to bring your driving licence! Entry costs £10 for a full-day ticket and £20 for a two-day ticket, Free camping with two-day tickets. This weekend will be the last two days eligible for the 2007 Castrol Challenge. The Football and Rugby will both be shown on big screens in Fuelers Bar. Saturday Night Special - Timetable Saturday Night Special Timetable for 13th Oct 8am - Gates Open 9am - Sign on office opens 9am - Pod Shop opens 9.30am - Track opens 1pm - Lunch break - track 1.30pm - Track Re-opens 2.30pm - England vs Estonia (Football) 5pm - Track closes - tea 5.30pm - Track Re-opens 5.30pm - Pod Shop closes 6pm - Jet car demo 8pm - England vs France (Rugby 1st half) 8.40pm - Pole Dancing 9.30pm - England vs France (Rugby 2nd half) 10pm - Pole Dancing 11pm - Pole Dancing 12pm - Pole Dancing Traders Attending: Motorshack and RICAB Car Clubs Attending: South Yorkshire Dubs, Modified Market.com, Bury Retro Ford Club, and MG Rover.org.
