Ant, were you referring to my fast-idle warm up habit () there? If it's not bad for the car I will continue to do that, and as the frosty mornings begin it is kind of necessary to warm the car a bit to get the windscreen thawed. As others have mentioned, it's the labouring of the engine bit I have always tried to avoid, hence why I start the car like that. Mind you, since the Janspeed manifold went on I don't think the neighbours are too impressed with me going through my routine at 5.30am when I have to work earlies! And my Milltek catback was so nice and reserved-sounding before
