Offline | hi guys. well lived with the car for 3500mls now. the power delivery is sharp and goes all the way to the 6500rpm. most amazing thing about the tune up, is how below 3000rpm, around constant 70mph, is that the mpg, has actually improved, regular round trips of 250miles in one afternoon have repeatedly shown improvement. dropping down from 6th gear to 4th takes you from 70mph to 110mph in less than 3 seconds then flick back up 5th and you know exactly what you paid for. if you factor in the stut brace, the car pound for pound is up with any super car 0-60 is now low 6's, torque curve is steep rise from 0-3000rpm, then remains flat all the way to 6550, power delivered smoothly, no torque steer,no traction problems, gtt manifold/miltek works well , and the sound of induction/whine/exhust note over 3500rpm has to be the best indicator of workmanship. all three elements work in perfect harmoney. the sound increase is coupled with power increase, that is to say the car just does not scream and the exhust bellow, while not moving, i enjoy my car often and can not fault it in any way. the only thing i will say is that if your car is not 100% BEFORE the work, any weekkness will show.ie, clutch, bushes, brakes, gearbox. |

Offline | ok so now we pick up on the time it takes to get from 70mph to 110, it feels very fast and i guess it around 3 seconds, it may be 5, 6, or even 9, all i know is that it does it every time i want it to, and this is a true sign of how good the car is, not just fast a couple of months, then blows up. it my car, so do not rain on my parade. i think PERSONALITY of some tuners is enough to stop you using them, Roland/GTT. is a well respected tunner, even from his renualt days. have connections in motorsport, and have never heard a bad thing about ROLAND OR HIS WORK. hope that in 2008, this forum can be for people to exchange info/chat not just slag each other off. |
