Offline | Big Thanks to Lohen - Milltek Fitted Got the Milltek cat-back system fitted to the Cooper on Friday by the lads at Lohen and just want to say a big thanks for the top service. They couldn't do enough to make you welcome and comfortable, and 2 hours later was back on my way. Would certainly recommend Lohen, you can tell they are really enthusiastic about the MINI, and we'll be back soon .Would also recommend the Milltek system if your thinking of changing the zorst. Nice and easy to drive around with, but give it the beans and it responds with a good deep sporty note. Cheers, Colin M. |

| Banned | Looks mint RCC, top choice. Lohen fitted a Janspeed manifold and Milltek cat back to my MCS last week and I'm more than happy with the look and sound. Arvin's right though, it does get louder with time, sings nicely when you boot it but never shouts much louder than stock when you're cruising... love it! And top fitting job by Lohen. |

Offline | I've driven about 800 miles over the weekend (wedding in Scotland ), and have noticed it singing a nice tune now. But I do notice it sounds deeper when the system has nicely warmed up after 10-20mins driving. Not sure why, but it does.As for motorway cruising speed, it's great. Not much louder than stock until you want it to be ![]() .BigShow, I was thinking about the Janspeed manifold myself. Looks a work of art. Maybe one for the future after getting some head work done. Arvin, get some Autosol and climb under the car this weekend. It's a crime to get that shiny piece of engineering dirty. Oh, and I bet you didn't get a Lohen sticker ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Newbie | Had mine on for about 1000 miles on my mini one and noticed a noise difference from the start. I think the biggest noise change i notice is like what REDHOT CHILLI COOPER when it is warmed up. I'm not sure why this is but i know that i gets bigger as it gets hotter. I have the K&N 57i as well which compliments the Milttek nicely, the milltek is more noticable in lower revs and under load, whereas K&N is louder in higher revs. Performance increases appear to be similar also. Estimated that together it adds around 10-15bhp. All together making a nice noise and with the engine chip (AMD) making it slightly louder also(and a lot faster!). The only thing with my milltek is that it doesn't stick out as much as yours REDHOT CHILLI COOPER by about 3-5cm's. I fitted it myself but cant blame this as there are the brakets that the backbox hangs onto which only allows for around 1cm of movement. Any idea's anyone? |

| Banned | It took months for me to decide which manifold to go for, even tried one off ebay for 200 quid, a Janspeed rip off called 'Japspeed'... looked great, great design but now the janspeed is on I've realised that you truly do get what you pay for. Plus when I get the head work done they can port match the janspeed giving even greater flow. Autosol... Mmm shiny shiny |
