I run a JCW sound kit, which I love, with the JC Motorsport open cone filter. Sounds amazing, but I do wish JCW/MINI had had the balls to up the car to 130bhp with it.

Don't forget that Superchips offer their own warranty with the Blufin. They claim never to have used it, but there is a clause in the words about the policy being voided by other modifications.

Humph,

Like you say the JCmotorsport open cone filter sounds awesome, and i know we have spoke on this before, i do have the 133BHP remap with the sound kit package and it is AWESOME, but you can only have this mod if you mini ONE or COOPER is pre 04 plate due to a software upgrade.

I would reckomend this as teh way to go if you want that JCW heritage, i am currently looking into a better air filter, but as yet nothing. any help appriciated. trying to free up some room moving the batteries to the boot just like in the MCS, will see how that goes, thenmaybe an alta air filter like in the MCS ??? unsure yet.

anyway HUMPH enjoy the ITJOB and GOOD LUCK

Cheers Nathan. Spoke the motorsport centre about that map but no luck as mine is an 06. If I remember correctly Morty or one of the German guys posted a pick of his filter which was similar to the Alta CIA for a Cooper, but retained the original positioning. Think it was in the soundkit thread.

That looks great will it fit on my Coop then ? I only ask as a few comments seem to mention MCS and i dont wanna confuse myself even more than i am already.

As My Cooper is an early 56 plate (one of the last R50's) then I wont be able to get the 130 BHP remap. I guess for time being i'll start with Lohen's blufin package n go from there.

Cheers Guys
