It would be but you can only get GP parts if you have the broken parts to give back, they were quite quick to work one out.

Tried this today in my R56 cooper, not able to compete with anyone here The cars stock apart from a panel filter, had a quarter tank of tesco 99, a temp of 8 degrees c and a VERY gusty wind! The average of the 4 runs was 10.95... I'll probably try again on another less windy day.

Chili Red R56 Cooper aero kit side repeaters, ITG panel filter, Eagle F1 GSD3's, Silver vision bulbs and soon to have a cat back exhaust and chip

That is a big suprise to me

I wonder how much difference the early box makes

I am very pleased to still be at the top of the SC list at 5.1 - how the hell I did it I do not know but it makes me smile that I am still there

It would be ineresting to see your latest torque graph Snowie as looking back at your old figures my torque comes in earlier and stronger in the middle so it's not just the toruqe thats producing your awesome time, IMO it's the later GB as Paul ran an identical time to yours with a later GB in his.

Have you got your latest dyno graph Snowie? Attached mine for torque comparison, be good to compare mine to your original dyno graph too Roland as a sort of schrick vs 1320 cam plot to see where the schrick torque comes in.

Big Show....have you had a chance to do the 60-130mph yet as a comparison to our GTT350T ?. My guess for your car would be about 20 secs though is a wild guess. Also what do you think your chances are of matching my GTT260 spec road car (road tyres) 1min 20 secs (or 1 min18secs turbo road tyres) at CC now youve watched others go round in 1min 30 secs best all day?
Snowies car and driver is a heck of alot heavier than 1320s totally gutted car+lighter driver .+ 1320's smaller diameter wheels which lowers the gearing a fair bit aswell to help their time.

Sadly I don't have my own private tarmac rally stage to do my test but 20 seconds sounds about right to me, but when I do it it will be more than one run using the PB and backed up within 1%.

As I've said from the start I don't think my chances are that good TBH but I still have plenty of time to give it a go, but before I run, a CC expert will take my car out with vid cam and performance box because if he can't get close in my car I'll admit defeat as I don't want to spank my car by trying too hard just to win a bet

It was actually Paul that set that time in Snowies car so the driver was the same in both cars. Snowies must weigh about 2700 as a GP as that's what BRM Coopers base spec car weighed, where as Pauls weighs 2600 but was running 15's so although there will be something in it but it won't be more than a tenth of a second.

So have you got a copy of the dyno graph as above?

I really enjoy seeing how you compare a $16,000 kit to a $5000 kit

If you want to compare apples to apples we can send over one of our kits for $15k and make 500whp vs your 390 crank hp

I can't imagine how you can honestly say this is some kind of fair comparison. Why not bring out one of your 280GTT kits and show the world what it does?

Ben
At the moment I have no access to a scanner - still getting sorted out after the move to Italy and as is usual there are a few things still in boxes.

All of my data from all dyno runs is in the GP tuning thread in the PDF doc with all data from 2000 RPM up to Stock GP limit of 7000 RPM where my rev limiter cuts in hard.

The 5.1 sec run at SRR was with me driving (you told me so) plus when Paul went out in the car as far as I know the Perf box was in another car. I said it would be good to know what it would be with another driver.
I need to lose weight me not the car
