| Thinking Minis | Sorry guys I have been snowed under with work at present and not been out to play! I just need to get the rpm for 30 and 70 in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th then I can do all the runs and look at the data whilst sitting in front of the fire in my arm chair! Im looking to improve my 30 -70 in 6th as I can pull like a train from 25mph in 6th now!! Paul, most of the heavy hitters live near me, all our roads have bends in so this test is quite hard! Offline | I have crap coming out of the snoot boot on the entry to the IC. Its chucking oily bits over the IC. Its ot a huge amount, but then I have an OCC, which after checking really needs an empty. I might not of spotted it if it wasnt for the oil on the IC. |

| MINI2 Regular | Custom tune is good choice i know. If I will have any trip to England I will come to you but is veryvery far. ![]() I know the head is not a simple job, but I will trust my friend who made some engines for rally and he win's in his class. It wasn't MINI but I believe he will do some good works on it. Like I said I am not talking about 30+HP on head. I am a little realistic. ![]() The throttle body pipe will be the simply job here. I have all stuf for welding (TIG), lathes, CNC machines and that stuff actually at home. I will try to do something better then OEM. What is your opinion which ratio is still safe on that supercharged engine? So If I change head, throttle body, compresor and that stuff will the ratio stay the same? So between 11.3-11.6? What's your experience? |
