I think as the car gets older they'll be more diy enthusasits / racers turboing them as track weapons.

Have you had a chance to do the 30-70 in 3rd yet Roland??

Have I missed the Performance Tuner mag issue with 001 in it??

Hi guys, spent the last 3 days trying every combo of ..fuel pressure/ injector size/ actuator preload/ TB size /Map sensor ........the results are storming ...its just beserk. Doing one change at a time so very time consuming (but interesting) The result is very pleasing. Before anyone asks this car is still running stock map (well the challenge map to be precise),which for anything over 15psi leans out like crazy .(prior to the above changes).
Very stable, & smooth on part throttle, no eml's ,snap down response excellent, idle excellent.
Next up... re-mapping to increase rev limit and a slight tweek on the fuelling
Strangly this car seemed very tolerant of wide swings in AF ratio.

Oh no leaks, inlet temps very low, coolant temp nice,
Best Regards Roland GTT

Just out of intreast Roland how come you've never invested in a rolling road / dyno, must be a pain in the ass trying to do these test on a wet road day or due to traffic.

I'm not sure the word invested is the right word

So has Lee's car a better combo of injector, TB, FP etc etc than yours now?

I still can't believe Roland has had a customer with no published performance figures?!?!

I'm not doubting the conversion in anyway, yes it is probably 300bhp like Roland says but I can't believe someone would spend so much money on a performance upgrade without proof of its power

He's more than welcome to come up to us for a day, we had a Cossie on the other day that made 470bhp with adaquate cooling for his fmic.

At least it'll give us something to chase.

You can keep the bonnet shut or have it open Roland, beause I can assure you ours wont look anything like yours.

Or what about poping down for the Surrey Rolling Road day.

Go to 1320 Roland!!

1320 & GTT's knowledge joining forces and working together would be the best thing for the Cooper S UK community!

Hi Guys,From start to finish including designing every part (100+ parts designed) ,producing drawings, tooling, programs, getting everything made, fitting it all, testing including 1min 18 sec laps at CC, long term road testing. Then making another set of all the parts, fitting them to a second car, further delelopment. - All in 10 months!
Of course it will go on the RR, (independant from any Mini tuner), Just compare what weve achieved over that time scale compared to other tuners who talk everything and produce very little.....be patient please.
I'll even use a customers car on the RR ,as TBH tuners own demo cars could perform ( or be accused of performing )better than they're customers 'production line' conversions.I'll also do some in gear times and 30-100mph sprints etc
Best Regards Roland GTT

How long in time do you think you've got left until you happy with it Roland?

Lee must be a frustrated but happy man thats he's going to end up with perfection.

In about 2 weeks ,I expect total perfection on Lees car. Yep better than mine even
(I can tweak my 99.9% perfect version later).
Lee knows it will be right from the word go and deliver over 300bhp. with loads of torque and no nasty lags/surges/glitchs/cutouts/stumbles..........thats why he brought it to us.
