Probably the head an injectors not convinced the throttle body does much tbh

Very interesting! Where these at 1320autos dyno? This is similar setup to mine, diffs in blue. I also made about 202hp... @ THE FLY.

Granted:
1) JCW exhaust is not as free flowing as some,
2) my S/C pulley is more conservative,
3) 63mm TB might give some edge at WOT,
4) can't compare two results from different dynos
:
n) jadajada

But even all those 1-n explanations factored in, my hunt for The Bug continues.

Sam

Ps. You do not happen to find that torque figure lying around anywhere...?

I will take the car to the dealer on Friday for a thorough check (did it already once but they did not find anything). As far as boost, I just ordered ScanGaugeII to do some diagnostics of my own too. Is your boost in 15-17 range?

Ive just fitted my boost gauge and im boosting at 14 psi. Im booked in at 1320 to do a power run and to check fueling etc. I thought i would be boosting around 15 psi. The belt was changed 3500 miles ago and the needle stays solid at 14 psi through the revs, so the belt isnt slipping and ive had the modified bypass valve done. I have a 15% pulley with all my other bits.

hey scotty dog!

Gonna get the wepon on the rollers as well as marcus and we are gonna see what our little puppies have got should be really interesting i thnk.

U not got injectors scotty?I herd that they only really help squeeze the top end out and i think for the oney you pay its a hell of alot to pay. If i am relly really nice to marcus i might ask if i can fit his in myne and try it out to see if i can feel any differance

hope ya well mate! My nexy mod will be either a intercooler, of tarox 6 pots o and bumper is on its way, so no more standard bumper with aero grill will be a real mans bumper!!!!

Hello mate,

That will be good mate, sure there is a rolling road near Robert Shaw Racing??

Nah i aint got injectors but there is always a set flying around for sale in the classifieds or on ebay lately so i might splash out, think the brakes will be best as this time of year i think its cold enough for a standard intercooler its bllody freezing

Think the bumper will set ot off altough the skirts will look good too lol

You got anything planned for Xmas meal with ya misses as we have some thing in the pipeline with us northeners.

TBF mine runs very rich on the jcw injectors, i think from the conversation with paul an tom we could probably take some fuel out, but the AFR is nice a safe how it is

True but the he will have to compromise somewere tho, and IMO brakes would be better at this stage.

i have track dayed my mini and if i hadent got some mintex pads it would have spoiled the day as the brakes just fade to nothing!

STANDARD MINI BRAKES ARE SHIZZLE.

Next up terrox 6pot me thinks. Might get a boost guage just to see where i am at.

Anyone else got any imput on injectors???Ihad herd that the jcw injectors were really lame and that they had to be a minimum of 300cc????otherwise there really wasnt a point and it all depended on what mods you had done?

Think soe shristmas din din might be in order scotty sounds like a shin dig is going down

Or atleast grooves discs and Yellow Stuff pads minimum....

Only upgrade the injectors if you need more fuel and the JCWs are fine unless you need more than they can provide.
