Hi Karl, no problem.
BTW we have a stage 4 already CNC machined, just needs many hours hand fettling.
Both cams & heads will have a small effect on boost pressure. Basically its not bottling up behind the inlet valves so much. The Shrick cam you have already is still IMO the best out there, so stick with that.
Best Regards Roland GTT

Oh indeed, certainly going to keep the Shrick cam ....and with the Shrick valves and Stage 4 head work - what a combo !

Cheers,
K.

Roland,

what would a "small effect" be?

Karl, if you find a credible dyno up your way to do a before and after head swop thus Roland will have some data availble.

I can think off onein the NW, where abouts are you exactly.

I have been back to Surrey Rolling road today to see how the car is performing with the JCM German Challenge rear exhaust set up.

Max power 260.1 BHP , 218.9 at the wheels and max torque 215 Ft/LB

The car is a flying machine in all gears and I am really pleased with the torque figure.

I am a happy bunny today - there is still more to find as I am still running the stock map.

That pdf is still great What was going on with your boost pressure? leak on the intercooler boots? I can understand the drop when the head went on but it seems to have gone back up all of a sudden. Also goes to show that the boost seems to be much better on the 15% than a +1% crank.

Id be very interested to see your results if you ever try a 17% pulley

This is a great read, what are you replacing the JCW exhaust with?

Any Mod plans for the LHD GP?

GTT, GRS, Janspeed, JCW, OMP + various other bits - 232.6bhp, 191.2lbft on 1320's rolling road

Exhaust will be replaced with a JCM UK Mini Challenge system - this is a half pipe system so it not as loud as the German full pipe

No real plans on the LHD one yet - I need to have it standard so that I can ensure I have no problems importing it and registering it in Italy

Thanks Snowie for the great post (a very scientific report)...and big congratulations for your results! It's been a long road and I am sure that you are relieved and happy to see the outcome.

But a quite large diff you got when swapping the JCW catback - something I was slightly afraid of (I have a JCW catback too and believe that it is one of the issues holding me back).

Hoping to follow you soon
