215.3 ft lb @ 5413

So conclusive proof that a kettle is more powerful than Daves car

Like mine then.

AHHHH but its their kettle on their rolling road, the figures could be fudged, i think we need an indpendant RR to make sure its a true representation of the power the kettle really has

The reason ours is quicker and makes the most is because it has a WAI fitted

Ever noticed that the most expensive kettle Currys sell is also the slowest? Says Porsche on the side of it. It looks pretty but you could boil water quicker using Daves car!

Ever thought of getting a forged element for your kettle paul?
It will be much better for the enormous heat yours generates.

This one is holding up fine, there's some hairline cracks appearing but it should go a few more boils.

Though I think I might upgrade to the forged item and turn the wattage up when we rebuild it.

LOL. Cant believe this thread has turned into a kettle modding one.
You can even make a cup of tea in your car while you go up the strip. May get a bit messy when you try pouring it though. lol

I suggest fiting a performance element, to get purer fuel for quicker boiling
