Offline | JCW exhaust The backbox on my 2001/51 Cooper is rotten so the search is on for a replacement. My plan is to treat myself and minbin to a stainless cat back system by either Playmini or Milltek, however i have found this on ebay It says its part of the JCW upgrade kit but i cant find any info on the part number on real oem site so can any of you guys help please. I know its not stainless but will it give me any performance gains or produce a sportier noise than my standard exhaust and is it a viable option? Any thoughts would be great, many thanks. |

Offline | Honestly, it doesn't look like the JCW exhaust I know, and I haven't been able to find it on realoem too...so I don't really know if it's a sportier exhaust than the one you already have. I'd go with the Milltek... |

Offline | From RealOEM the Part Number for the Cooper Sound Kit exhaust is 18100399689 The part number for the (now discontinued) JCW Tuning Kit Exhaust for the Cooper is 18100141760 RealOEM.COM * Part Category Selection The shape of the back-box in the pictures on eBay look like the Original Tuning Kit Exhaust not the Sound kit one. |

Offline | Done more searching and still cant find the part no on the pictures so may give the stealers a call and see if they can shed any light. I am just a bit wary as its not stainless and it doesn't have the JCW engraved tailpipe so really not that special, unless it goes for a bargain! |
