United-States RMW (Jan) Tune - Best mod by far

Jan from Revolution Mini Works in the U.S. tuned my car yesterday. I already had a MTH custom racing map. The tune increased my peak WHP from 204 to 215, the peak torque stayed the same at 191 ft-lb but the Area Under the Torque Curve improved dramatically. I gained approx. 10 ft-lbs at the wheels from 4,000-6,000 rpm. The car feels like a rocket ship between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm which is where I do 90% of my driving. This tune clearly is on the same par as the SC pulley. All of my other "attempted" performance mods such as my $1,000 IC and $350.00 TB were a waste of money. For about $1500 dollars you can get a pulley, CAI, one-ball exhaust, rear sway bar and Jan's tune and your car will kill 95% percent of the tuned MINIs. Jan can be receached at 949-456-9590. He has been doing dyno tuning days all over the US so no one is out of reach for this fabulous tune. Get enough interested MINI enthusiasts and he may come your way.

Welcome to Mini2 Buzz Bom, I bet you cant stop driving

Cant wait to feel that extra torque, not sure we've got a flat spotlike you had, I'll compare some dyno sheets over the weekend.

What I'm really looking forward to is that raised rpm limiter

Out of reach for me here in Germany....

I have heard great things about his tunes. I currently run a MTH setup and do like it as it is an improvement over the stock map but would love to have them tweak my baby even further.

Jan,

You want to come to Germany?

LOL, that ain't no cheap feat either!

Two problems with that. First the ferry is not cheap. Second, I am paid in USD which means that I would lose a ton of money with the dollar being in the toilette right now.

However, I will keep you in mind if it ever recovers and I need a vacation.

We're realistically looking at the start of 08 until we have everything in place.

I believe 08 will be a very good horepower / torque year

I'll give you a room to stay (with beer) for a nice discount on a tune.

You've only been waiting a short while I've been waiting 18 months, my 11.7 would of been an easy 11.4, though its nice going flat out in 5th across the line and a lot of people couldn't believe it I would of still rather been at 8k in 4th.
