No, its Jans aka Revolution Motor Works, I was fortunate to see it when I visited Cali to race Hubie's Mega Mini against the Fireballed M600.

I know Jan probably still doesn't believe me but Hubie Tuls and I were discussing the best place for the turbo to sit the prevous day as we were assembling both Minis and we placed it exactly where Jan had his. The very next day there was Jans car sitting there in the flesh exactly how we had said.

They say great minds think alike.

you should hear it with the much more radical camshaft

even the NSX guys couldn't believe the power the little devil put down

they said, that doesn't sound like a Mini

Jan do you think a turbo mounted in the same position as your could work for a daily drive??? obviouly you wouldn't need a GT35r straight away!

just thinking it could make the intercooler pipe work easier to. you could have a bottom to top intercooler (thats what comes with the Full-Race kits for the Civic) that would keep all the pipe work on the gearbox side. not sure about the downpipe but im sure it could be made to work.

also have a look at some of the scooby rotated turbos. they mount them on about a 20 degrees angle. might help with fitment a little.

thanks Chris.

Chris,
you would need to relocate your entire ecu from the area for one, obviously running a smaller turbo would help and having smaller piping would also help
It's a tight fit but when going for 700+hp... nothing is easy
