plugged in my bluefin got to where it is about to install and it came up with that error. any help would be nice! i have a 56 plate mini one

Have you turned the ignition on i.e. so the ignition lights are illuminated but engine not turning?

If I remember right I connect to the port with the ignition off, bluefin communicates, turn ignition to on position above and press the 'Y' key to start download.

Also just make sure the plug is all the way in.
