...be sure to remain consistent in your measurements... the pulleys are v-grooved.
I guess its arbitrary though, so just make a value up. I think it is about 5 times greater in diameter so not too far from being around 250mm - 300mm. Both pulleys that you mention come in a number of sizes and i think there must be over 15 or so combinations that you can have.

Alternatively wait for a mechano-geek to provide the exact micrometer reading

Cheers,
K.

... so based on a 62mm SCharger pulley the crank pulley is 127.72mm (using a ratio of 2.06)

If i run a 15% scharger pulley then it would be 52.7mm and the crank would remain at 127.72mm resulting in a 2.42 ratio.

But i run a 1% oversized crank pulley so this would result in a crank pulley of 128.99mm which means my ratio is 2.45 based on a 15% pulley (values rounded up)

Or is that all wrong?

Cheers,
Albert.

I have seen somewhere the supercharger pulley is 65.5mm.

So my ratio is 2.51. Thats interesting

Oh wait... or is it 2.56 as the GTT Crank is +4mm.

Has anyone done any testing as to what causes less load on the engine between a +1% crank or just getting a smaller SC pulley?
