Offline | Cool, just a quick blast up the motorway then. I live about 30mins north of Lancaster, but I'm there quite a bit when I'm not at Uni. The mods sound impressive, what kind of power are you hoping for after you have finished with the tuning? Just noticed that you are on the LMR - maybe I'll see the car on the next event if I can make it. ![]() James. |

Online | Drive train loss of 21%. Suprised that you got 218bhp to be honest. Dont think Snowie got that! Edit: Based on drivetrain loss of between 10 to 15% would make it between 191.7 to 203.1 |

Online | Right using this thread to get an average... http://www.mini2.com/forum/uk-irelan...-november.html ...drivetrain loss for a manual S is 16.5% Problem is that the 16% my mate had on its last run is on the older ratio'd gear box. And the above average I've worked doesn't factor in which gearbox. It seems out of the 5 dyno info I got of that thread that the gearbox's made little difference anyway, as Snowie and Graham had same drivetrain loss. It seems the more power the less drivetrain loss!? |

Online | I'd agree with Loui, 21% drivetrain loss would mean summats not right with your car, or the correction factor is wrong I'd expect it to be more like 16-17% mark. Making yours more like 205 at the fly. I'm no expert on dyno's just crunching numbers ![]() |

Online | So long as you take it back to the same place to Dyno it after the work is done then you can compare before and after as opposed to the numbers themselves ![]() |

| Banned | Numbers are quite good gregg. I would think that 240bhp would be vmax with your first set of mods. Just out of interest why have you opted for the chargecooler instead of an intercooler? Looking forward to seeing the car when its done ![]() |
