Hi all

I tried to find more info on this by myself but couldn't find what I was looking for...I'm considering upgrading to a Cooper S, and was wondering which year the power changed? I remeber someone saying that they only had all the 125kW from a certain point, and was wondering when this change took place? My second question is when the supercharger was upgraded, and if it makes a big difference to the tunability of the motor and how much power can be squeezed out of it. My third question- is the suspension any different? Lower, stiffer?

Right I hope I've got my conversions correct:

Up to mid-2004, the R53 supercharged Cooper S had 163bhp / 120kW.

From mid-2004, the R53 supercharged Cooper S had 170bhp / 125kW.

Since late 2006, the R56 turbocharged Cooper s has had 175bhp / 129kW.
