Offline | Dooh, My Bad Karl, I didn't read the "thumbnail" bit and for some unknown reason thought your car was blue and knew your name wasn't Mark John Johnny or Tony. Also I couldn't figure out why would you be on the Lohen website when if they cut you open there would be a GTT symbol there ![]() But I now understand why, you have a 15% pulley, i presume from Lohen. My apologies ![]() Slicks 11.77@115.92mph Street tyres 12.162 @ 119.02 It's not how much you spend but how well you spend it |

Offline | We'll enjoy it even more with the new camera ![]() I suppose that you have to realise if you hadn't already that we're data addicts, i.e dyno 1/4 mile track,so anything we do we have to prove that it does or doesn't improve the car. But you will hae your data soon and give ussome pointers around Oulton Park when you do your video. Is there a PS3 game which does all the UK tracks?? | The Power Cube | Nearly... No, i had my AP brakes fitted there, but they were soon removed after being fried on track !! Incidentally, they were fitted with spacers and not washers, which on all accounts could split very easily and them cause the fitting to become loose. Not the best approach when dealing with brakes ![]() The only reason i've left the car on the site is because i like the look of that picture, but you are quite correct.. it is DEFO not a Lohen car, it is 100% GTT ![]() ![]() Cheers, Karl. ![]() Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing... |

| The Power Cube | Yes, i'd guessed you like your figures !!! Regarding the bullet cam - i can't wait to see what cars i battle on the track on Wednesday next week... just a slight problem there though - i am still trying to work out how to mount the cam outside the car at the front - worst case it's going to have to be inside the windscreen for now - which is a bit naff. but defo MPEG4 for sure !!!! if i can sneak it on, then i will also have the second cam suction mounted on the side wing front and aft. I may try a few combinations.I've just been playing ToCA 3 for the PS2, but i saw the PS3 in it's full glory on an HD 103" Samsung LCD TV in Kuala Lumpur a few weeks ago - OH DEAR !!! this is VERY VERY life like !! think of the step from the PS1 to PS2 then times it by 10 !!!! ![]() ![]() It's like a DVD !!As for there being a game - i suspect it'd have to be a ToCA game (not GT4 as i mentioned earlier). Offline | That depends on how insecure they're feeling, and how much the rely upon their cars to make themselves feel superior to the common man. Offline | I thought you were going to say that you had a 500bhp 20v Golf engine in there and you smoked him ![]() Slicks 11.77@115.92mph Street tyres 12.162 @ 119.02 It's not how much you spend but how well you spend it |

| MINI2 Master | His runs mid 12's all day long. But seriously needs slicks. The funniest thing was, because the said mate has only recently just got back into Reno 5's ( he had one about 7 yrs ago and even though he had a nice race specced 206, he always harped on about the good old days. Anyway, he got this reno and kept saying as he stipped ( and it stripeed to nothing now, sunroof was welded up at the weekend to finish R cage fitment) that he wanted to get it to weigh less than a tonne. Then i showed him the practical perfomance car article on renos, which stated the standard weight was 850kgs, so we reckon his is down to 770kgs, which is the same as an old shape Lotus Elise. Madness, i knew they were tin but thats just mad. PS its a BB tuning Yellow top engine. Trouble is we thin its going to be too loud for tracking, so looking into that too now. Oh and reading the comments from GTT270 earlier in this thread. I would'nt harp on about BHP or get into any any BHP wars with others, as it may not get as high as you think. But to be honest, who bloody cares. I hav this feeling mine may only RR at 245 -250. But i tell ya, i believe the stories on doing M3's and the like. as boy these things go, adn we all know headline BHP is a load of tosh, its the driving experience thats the number one thing. |

Offline | Ant what we're trying to acheive is the best of both worlds torque like you are expericeng down low at the moment but with high torque numbers between 6000-7500 which obviously gives you high horsepower numbers. As I'm sure you know and can remember how frustrating it was running 15.0s every run what would you off given for another 15ftlb between 5500-7000 then![]() Unfortunatley horsepower is what everyone understands and everybody uses as its higher number so thus sounds better. But you are right, its about blowing every other marque off the track and gaining respect for the new Mini from those so called supercar boyz Slicks 11.77@115.92mph Street tyres 12.162 @ 119.02 It's not how much you spend but how well you spend it |
