So you want me to have a heart attack Luca

To go 140mph in the 1/4 I need to make

586.37bhp at 2600lbs
563.82bhp at 2500lbs
541.27bhp at 2400lbs

Now I know Hubie weighed in at 2200lbs at Pomona with him in the car but that was with carbon doors bonnet and tailgate no wipers headlights wiring loom etc etc.

Our car before the cage and some of the interior put back in weighed 2468lb with me in it so If I could get back down to that I'd be happy.

Saved 15lb this week by putting ally rear tariling arms on

I think a twin engined mini would be sweeeeeeeeeeet.
Two 270+bhp modded cooper s engines one powering the front wheels and one powering the back wheels.
Dont know if its possible but it would definately be quick

At the moment its finding them is the problem, they will be coming through as time goes on. I'll check out a time with Thomas and let you know.

This is a one off race at the moment, they're looking for 12 sec and quicker cars so hopefully 2much might apply as well.

I'm not sure what route I'm going to take turbo/nitrous or M45/nitrous, hopefully there will be 32cars entered so 5 rounds off racing.

If it is a suess and they go ahead with it again hopefully they'll split it into FWD RWD AWD

Option 1

1. Get a really powerful electric motor....
2. Enough batteries to get you up the strip...
3. A megaphone so you can make the engine noises yourself

Then you'll have the quickest street Mini in the UK and the quickest electric Mini in the UK!!

Option 2

1. Strip everything out including the engine
2. Attach a harness and me to the front
3. Put 1kg of Dairy Milk at the finish line

This diet is killing me so I'll get you up there quicker than Pro Street!

Cause most skylines wont run in the 12`s as their fat an lardy. An the ones that would run in the 9`s would have had mega bucks thrown at the engine

Obviously the rules are to open at the moment, because in theory I could turn up with a full tube chassis turbo 5spd liberty rwd 7 sec car, I'm sure if it does take off, which it will, this is what will happen.

At the moment we're leaning towards doing the turbo engine for this event.

You're joking right? Most Stage 1 tuned Skylines should run somewhere in the 12s, presuming it's a GTR

I might be exagerating but there really not that quick my mates 200sx not even putting out 300bhp would do most GTR`s with minor modifications. Plus seeing a 300bhp GTS getting toasted by a 300bhp pulsar really bought it home that liners arent as quick as everyone thinks unless there well modded, then there is the fear of bottom end bearings which a friend of mine had found out to his wallets disatisfaction twice
