Has anyone else done this as i would be intrested in your findings, a little back ground on my MINI

ALTA Generation 2 INDUCTION KIT
JCW STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST
WORKS MOTORSPORT ECU REMAP 133BHP

I have notice a MASSIVE increase in power since fitting this over the JCW MOTORSPORT INDUCTION KIT, wondered what teh thought might be on this.

Has brought my MINI back to life now even better to drive so responsive in all gears.

do you mean you bought the one for a cooper s and fitted it or do they make one especially for the ONE?

I brought the one for the COOPER S and fitted it to my ONE I will take pics tomorrow and it should be a lot easier to see what i mean.

That sounds ace, by gen.2 do you mean the R56? Im interested in hearing more about how it performs etc.

Interesting, have you fabricated some shielding or just stuck the cone on the end of a pipe?

i cant see any airfilter making a "massive" difference.

i have just stuck the cone on the end of the silicone piping that came with the Works cone no sheilding, I can't explain it, it just pulls picks up quicker and is so smooth and the NOISE is just AWESOME!!!!

you can see it sucking air in if someone Blips the throttle it's almost breathing. will post pics if i remember

sounds like a good idea but im not sure you should put a filter designed for the cooper s on as it is designed to suck in more air so may mess up something - i don't base this on any mechanical knowledge just a thought though...
