Offline | I'll go into this one last time ! After that it's back on topic as far as I'm concerned. MINIMANIAUK, all you do is ramble about this and that, but you provide NO proof. Making claims without backing them up with proof is easy. Anyone can do that. This is what you said: Remember that ? You're asking the wrong questions. The sport cat. allows a faster flow of the exhaust fumes, this causes less of a restriction or pressure if you want to call it that and allows more power to be produced. With no software tune, a sport cat. (depending on what brand of course) can give up to 5hp at the flywheel. If you adjust the software, it can give up to 7/8hp (again, it also depends on the tuner that adjusts the software and the brand of cat. that you get). Same story with the intake. The more cold air can be sucked in by the throttle body, the better. A new throttle body can also provide better results, but at Kelleners, they were able to work with the stock throttle body. Kelleners used a BMC CDA for this and did tests to measure the airstream and to measure how much air was being sucked in. As a result, this is their optimal setup which gave 5/6hp including a software adjustment. Pic of their German sport cat. compared to the stock one: ![]() Their intake setup: ![]() As I said before, they have given dyno proof of their setup (144/145hp) and they have installed this setup many times now. You, on the other hand, make claims but don't back them up with proof. See the difference ? All the gasoline cooling does is cool off the fuel inside the fuel lines. This allows the fuel to be injected at a lower temperature and this creates more power. This setup has been tested on a dyno (= PROOF) and it works. They got about 7/8hp with that system. But it does costs some money. Pic: ![]() That looks like a bunch of rambling to me. Could you please write proper sentences ? They polished the cilinder heads, and parts of the engine. No more, no less. Together with software, this gave about 6/7hp (each run shows different results). Not bad if you ask me. Pics: ![]() Before: ![]() After: ![]() They also installed cams (including spring,...). Pic: ![]() And a cat-back exhaust: ![]() So to sum it up: -software -cold air intake -cams -cat. -cat-back exhaust -polished head and engine parts -gasoline cooling Result : 144hp at the flywheel and 178Nm at the flywheel Dyno sheets of that Mini One: ![]() ![]() This is the last I'll say about this. If you still have a problem with these PROVEN facts MINIMANIAUK, I suggest you provide PROOF next time. For the last time, BACK ON TOPIC. Kind regards Der Abt |
