Intake Air Temp; is what your map sensor is telling the ecu the temp is in your intake manifold usually after 50ish degrees the ecu will start pulling timing out.

Cheers So I'm assuming the timing figures show everything is okay to? But then you say never assume anything

-100? is that ambient Kpa at your workshop 100kpa?

Dont suppose you did any wideband logging?

I was expecting a little more advance on the ignition. Have you logged any preface lifts and seen higher?

Most std headed will see this ssort of timing on a stock map, though when a good cylinder head goes on we see 28-30 at the top end, I would believe this more a result off the combustin chambers being smoothed off all its sharp edges and less chance of the engine detonating.

Until someone put a stock head with polished and smoothed chambers who knows for sure

, so do i chase the magic 250, or will an extra 13lbs of torque be better for me,

the only thing stopping me fitting the janspeed manifold is there excess noise at 70ish mph?

so any one with a milly catback as well going on the top gear run? so i can have a listen

Its interesting how much difference the manifold makes to shifting the peak torque lower down the rpm curve; me 191.2 @ 4638rpm and Alski 187.6 @ 5909rpm

I know each car is different but thats some change....

GTT, GRS, Janspeed, JCW, OMP + various other bits - 232.6bhp, 191.2lbft on 1320's rolling road

Just the JCW Cat back is going back on or the full Mani and cat back?

Would of loved the Miltek but not anytime soon as can't afford out

Sure someone will bite your hand off for it though

Just the JCW cat back was put back on today mate! Left the Janspeed Mani & High Flow Cat on. Not driven the car yet so not exactly sure how much difference its made to the noise!
To be honest I wasn't happy with the fit of the Milltek anyway due to the rear bumper being different on my GP than a normal Cooper S.
Keep your eyes open for a Milltek Cat Back System & a Janspeed De-Cat Pipe in the classifieds sometime soon haha

Be minful. Bhozar has had a lot of issues with big back pressure off the JCW exhaust breaking joints and gaskets on his set-up. I think he even broke his manifold a few times too.

I have had issues with big back pressure too and have also noted lots of leaks that come and go, and broken and burned gaskets... also i defo broke my manifold!
