Hi,
Im thinking of getting the Alta Supercharger Pulley Version 2.0 fitted on my s but i dont live anywhere near any of the major tuners on this website. The nearest is 1320 autos which is still an hour and a half away Is fitting a new supercharger pulley an easy job that most garages can do? Theres a small garage down my road which have done a good job in the past but i'm not sure they'll have the correct tools?

cant be too easy otherwise why would jcw kits come with new supercharger already fitted with pulley, eg is it beyond the average bmw garge to fit without damage?

It is a pretty easy job to be honest, but I doubt that a local garage would have the SC pulley puller and detensioner tool for the belt. I would recommend making the hour drive to 1320 if you are not a mechanic minded person. I have done 18 of these now and have only run into problems once, but I have been a mechanic for many years.

I would advise you to take the trip as well. At least you will have piece of mind everything is ok as 1320 know what they are doing

P.S You could even get the car dynoed before and after just to see the power gain
