Hello from P-Torque!!

Hi Guys

Just want to say hello, and introduce P-Torque if I may!

My names Will and I own P-Torque, based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands

We have been tuning for 4 1/2 years, and (as some members may remember) we specialised in BMW Mini ECU software tuning.

We offer tuning for all Mini models, from a Stage 1 re-map to a full package kit with pulleys, suspension, intercoolers etc etc.

The workshop has a waiting room with TV/DVD's and is equipped with a state of the art 2WD Dyno.

Please dont hesitate to contact me with any questions, or just to say hello

I will posting some special offers for Mini2 members soon

Ahhh

The main Dyno computer monitors intake temp, boost and air/fuel

Timing is only logged when developing software.

Hey Will,

Welcome to MINI2 - and nice looking rolling road you've got there! I just love this image on your website:

That just cracks me up!

As an inquisitive sort of person, I have a few questions about your remap services.
  1. What remapping software do you use? Superchips? MTH?
  2. Are these remaps custom to the individual car on the rolling road, or a generic map uploaded to the car's model (i.e. MINI ONE/COOPER or S)?
  3. Would you say your maps err on the side of safety or performance - or can that be selected by the customer?
  4. And finally, does your service have provision for the restoration of seat coverings should the above pictured circumstance involving pets come to pass...
And I think that's about everything from me for now. Welcome again, and I look forward to your responses.

All the best,
Andrew.

Hi Andrew

Thanks, picture is a bit of fun

The software is developed in house. I started P-Torque by tuning only Mini's

The stage 1 maps are trialed and tested generic maps, custom maps can be developed for various mods

All maps are developed for the safest performance increase possible, regardless of the customers wishes, I will not allow a map out of the workshop thats not 100% safe. I'd rather not do the job.

I'm afraid seat damage caused by shocked pets is the customers responsibilty

Thanks for the welcome
