Actually the MINI dealer himself went for a test drive...and volunteered to buy the car from me himself if I ever decided to sell

Yeah for sure, just finished one about the Tunnel Run that will hopefully get into print soon, so next on the agenda is one about the Cross suspension then the RMW head when Pauls finished fettling.

If everyone likes them I'll be applying for a job at Modern Mini next!... Well how else am I going to get a go in the GTT 300T

nah you'd never get a job with modern mini mag, you know too much about minis. Means you won't make stupid factual errors needed to qualify for a MM job..........

No Hearsay needed. Heres the thread i was keeping stum at the time as i was hoping to blow a few doors off at pod this year but oh well. The car is producing a little less at the mo as when those dynos were done it had a 1% crank pulley so was making 1 psi more boost, we took that off due to worries about oil pump longetivity an with that lost 9whp an 11bhp. At the recent MA dyno day it ran a number of runs at 230+ WHP an 260`s bhp wise, Graham from GRS was the only one to run anywhere near at around 218whp from memory

Post 46 shows Snowies stage 4 GTT head result and post 47 shows Graham @ GRS result

And Grahams result from the MA day is here

MINIaddiction :: Log in

So as you can see Ant, Louis on the MA dyno day made 12.bhp (or 24bhp with the 1% crank pulley on) more than Grahams which in turn made 2.4 bhp more than Snowies.

You more than welcome to bring yours up Ant as the best GTT stage 2 head record is Lucky Dave's at 243bhp, the exact same head on a different engine made 245bhp on someone elses dyno.http://www.mini2.com/forum/engine-dr...sted-last.html Post 19 (personally I think Dave's will make more than that now)

Any GTT headed car which beats the current GTT record gets there dyno for free

Come on Paul can't you fit it quicker? It's like having my right arm cut off not having the Mini here. I keep looking outside at an empty parking space and as I'm without a car I'm having to walk... and its not one those happy walks its one of these walks:
