Hi there, i have heard that only the manufacturer can reset the blue fin and that prices are fairly hefty. If you search the threads it`s on here somewhere.

I think it is fairly cost prohibitive £250+ IMSMR and Superchips ask for proof of purchase before they do it... beware! Hope you didn't pay too much for it...

superchips urgent?

hi all,

i have just recently received a blueifn device from my friend a former mini owner who used the device. He mentioned the device needs resetting but it would be quite a sum. Does anyone know if i can mention something to get a free reset. Like i got a new ecu or something??

so it cant be tracable.

many thanks

If you had a new ECU it would be the same chassis number though

Think the answer is no.....

I think if you say you got a new car sometimes they'll do it for free, if they see that the programme has been taken off the car and is back in the handset then this is more likely
