Roland I believe has the highest hp M45 car at the moment - Karl's might be even higher but we need black & white evidence although with the figures being banded about above I think the 273 / 274 hp may become a 2nd best very soon.

Competition - don't you just love it

My M45 powered car with stock intercooler /TB/JCW air box made 261whp/232tq
which puts it at 300bhp on pump gas
We have 2 cars at 300bhp at the moment with stock superchargers

btw... Al... you have the stage 4 GTT head on your car?

any chance that car can be put on a dyno at the day of a shoot out.... I mean.... if it's real.....
there shouldn't be any reason why it won't show......

RIGHT?

This thread just gets more and more full of egos the further I read! Would be interesting to know which head really is best but I very much doubt we will ever know as half the tuners dont give any information away and as yet I havent seen one test that shows the performance of adding a head. Prove otherwise??

Never less this thread is about a car reaching 281bhp so credit where credit is due! If it was that easy and cheap everyone would have one! So congrats!

Now since we have a rolling road booked for the 31st May at Surrey RR then why dont you all come down and show them off

Im also planning my next mods which happens to be a new head, cam and 440cc injectors so I for one would love to see some rolling road results from both GT Tuning and 1320/RMW tuned cars on the same day at the same rolling road!

There's one problem with that Dave, it easier to say that you can provide or have something than proving it

Exactly......thats why I take everyones head claims as a pinch of salt. Unless someone tests them all back to back without changing loads of bits then I might believe. All good modifying fun!

Everyone to Surrey RR for the showdown!!! I'll have the performance box with me for some on road figuring too!

Really looking forward to this now... especially BigShow vs Roland... it'll be as big as the recent Mayweather vs BigShow match up, even the size difference is the same although the result will be different

Do you mind me asking what it made? Do you think you have a boost leak or some other issue that means the head isn't as efficient as it should be?

RR details here : South Coast New MINI Club: Forums / Events & Meets / surrey rolling road day 31/05/08 But I think Lee has posted the details up on here too so will have a scout for it.

Unless everything hits the fan I should be testing a head at the same time But I would have changed Diff, Pistons and clutch though so might be a defiante drivetrain loss change.

Nope - don't have a Stage 4 GTT head - I've got a Janspeed modified head

237bhp if I remember rightly.....................nope no boost leaks at all....................just one of those things!

It's great once it's above 3500 rpm but pretty dull below it................never mind - that may change soon
