I guess a better gearbox was somewhere on that list of parts?

Reading that list of parts wouldn't be bad, would it? So if anyone can provide a link...

What a good idea.

And, perhaps our technical experts could give us a rough idea of what sort of sustainable/reliable high rpms are possible on a daily commuter R50?

2) Efficiency - the scharger is using up costly bhp
3) Cooling - the Turbo is a higher calibre package, and runs at a lower temp than the current setup - equal cooling and safety on all pistons.
4) It's available, and i hate having excess money in my pocket
5) With all my other mods (pistons, cam, stg4 head, clutch, diff, etc. etc.) the Turbo will really shine
6) I was always going this route anyway

I don't have anything to prove, it's my car, and i know how it drives and what it can battle against. The effort of a rolling road for me was too much due to logistics and timing. I thought it better to spend the money and time on replacing the oil pump instead. I'm not in the business of pleasing others just because they demand it at my expense and time. When i want to do a RR then i will.

I'd love to spectate the Surrey RR - who's going, where is it being held?

Cheers,
K.

Karl,
let's be clear here...... I offered to pay for the dyno or did you forget?

If I'm not mistaken RMW Head comes with a valvetrain that can sustain up to 10k rpms, is that right Jan?

how to bring the engine to rev so high is anothe rmatter and I don't know. I know eliminating the rev limit in the map once can reach 8k, but more, I dunno.

Thinks keep getting in the way this year. Like I could have done 5 weekends in a row but I'll be going to the Dragon.

here it is....
we are closing in on the 270WHP mark

got a few ideas left in the bag

as you can see if you overlay these with other dyno sheets......

the area under the curve is fantastic
this is from the superior design of the exhaust manifold

Pardon my Ignorance, but the RMW Header/Manifold will fit with any other aftermarket Cat back, or does it require a bit of modding?

Wanted to Go Miltek, but tempted to see if i can find a quieter rear back box if I decide to go silly after sorting the suspension out and get the RMW mani.

It's a software tune mate like superchips, on Jim's turbo monster it'll up his bhp by about 30 at the click of a button... damn those pesky turbo cars
