So Karl... Can we come watch when you run this on the dyno?

Will you be using fuel additive, race fuel or just pump fuel?

Have you been driving it quite hard since they were fitted? Just interesting to know which way you are doing it. Some people say fully synth and drive gently for 1000miles and some say half synth and drive it 75% throttle for a couple of runs. The big run in discussion continues.......and I still think reasonably brisk drive to run in.

Hmm I am really interested to know what this is like, as I am having mine done in 2 weeks, I guess the difference for me will be really noticable as I am going from a Gtt 240 to a stage 4 head, shrick cams, bigger values, 44 injectors, crank pulley, new GTT manifold (have the old one already), plus a few other bits and bobs, I can't wait, just really want the Minarge to kick some a55 and reckon it should do with all that

its good to see so many minis getting some extra umph, hope to join the party soon, perhaps with slightly less than the big hitters, but enough to keep the smile on my face, my only worry is with all these faster minis about, the Q car effect will be diluted,

I am on the 1000mile gentle run in with fully synth. Got 300miles done so long way to got before I can open it up, I do the odd blip to 4k rpm but start coming up to things tooooo fast then, can't wait to see what its like when its run in as I will have another 4k rpm to use!!!

Quick car effect maybe..... the feeling of it being really quick usually wears off over time. The reason its better financial sense to mod a bit at a time

Is it essential to change the pistons after XXX amount of power?

What is the cost of fitting these pistons?

Absolutly no need to replace the pistons unless you're going for a turbo conversion, wanting to run nitrous or you go the stroker route.

Yup, I do have an old 1963 landrover that does 52 top whack, so driving that for a week every so often should do the trick
