Offline | It was quite easy really (only had to small issues). I just took my time, no need to rush as that's when mistakes happen. I have a slight advantage though when it comes to getting hands dirty , I am an engineer but in high speed machinery (packing machinery, robots etc)Last edited by Jaw_F430 : Apr 21st, 2008 at 10:25 PM. |

Offline | An engineering mind is always a benefit My main problem is that I live on a hill and cant really do engine work such as this. Especially without a garage ![]() |

Offline | Always a benefit but you never stop learning so have to have open mind ![]() ![]() I stand by the words "a guy who asks a question is a fool for 5 mins but the guy who doesn't ask is a fool forever" ![]() Yes a garage is needed. Ideally a ramp as well as it doesn't half hurt your back leaning over the engine (sounding a lot older than I am now ) |

| The Power Cube | cars done 400 miles now. started to open the throttle a little more under 3000 rpm. taking it up to 4800 in 3rd to 6th. seems to pull freer, and more power in the rev band. more torque for sure. 150 miles more and i can floor it up to about 5000 rpm. but it will be a few 1000 before i rev to the limit. Cheers, K. ![]() Too many mods to list, PM me if the cat needs killing... |
