Going from Milltek to Stock... Gain or Loss???

I'm at Bedford Autodrome tomorrow so have put the stock Cooper S cat-back exhaust back on so I can pass the noise regs. It would have been silly not to put the car back on the dyno to see how the stock exhaust compared to the Milltek, so today I did just that.

So what do you reckon...? Gain or Loss...?

Remember my car was last dyno'd at 282.7 bhp... so please put your BHP guess below, closest person to the actual figure by end of play today wins a nice Tunnel Run window sticker.

I was going to start thread similar but going from JCW (with kink) to stock. The main reason behind this is that the JCW with janspeed mani is tooooo loud 3k-4k and will be louder above that I would think but got another 600miles to cover first!!

But after reading Rolands back pressure test I was going to ask people do they think it would benefit my car

281.7bhp is my guess for your car Ben

I have GTT manifold (same as Janspeed), de-cat, and JCW exhaust. At the moment the seats are out of the rear too. I dont think its too loud when the seats are in. Sounds quite nice. Its only 85dB when last tested at Castle Combe, and their limit is 100dB. Much louder than mine.

Must be my massive ports on the RMW head

My other plan is to make the stock cat fit in place of the janspeed cat to see if that makes any difference

P.S is that at WOT 85db

MIne before the head was done measured 98db static through the Milltek which is why I'm taking no chances as if you fail the drive by test (75db) just once you're black flagged.

So who's the closest then?

I'll go for 273bhp.

Also when you going to put up some more Youtube movies of your car. I'm trying to get an idea of how the Janspeed/Miltek setup sounds before I go and splash the cash on a new manifold.

The same, or close to it, the standard exhaust isn't that bad when matched to a decent manifold
