I wouldn't know, my MINI is an R50 and I've never driven or been in a car with a supercharger.

Also, my turbocharged second car is hardly comparable to the Mini... it's a SmartCar.

The turbo effectively acts as a silencer, so it kind of has a more "muffled" note. Still sounds the (.)(.) though!
