And the grade of stainless prob won't be as good as Janspeed therefore leading to the manifold cracking

Well imo its bit of both, I have owned one and as I posted earlier I had to modify the flange to make it fit my head.

magnaflow

i use the magnaflow and its quite loud but a nice note comes from it. improves acceleration. need that pulley though.

I think 'quite loud' is an understatement - loud with drone to boot, I hated it

Can anyone speak to the fittment of a Milltek manifold to a JCW head on a 2006 MCS?

Simple bolt-on, or might there be some cutting/grinding involved?
