| The de Chromed MINI | Manifold problems I have just fitted a miltek manifold (well Miltek tubes and a stock cat) and once the car is up to temperature, there is a strong smell in the car like a hot smell, not burning as such, I have checked the clearance of the manifold against the heatshields and there is at least 15mm at the closest point between the heatshield and the manifold, any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks Rob ![]() |
